What can be done?
For years I used tricks to lower the overhead but they never really gave the kick for the money...
I have built dozens of website over the years. The initial costs were low but looking back, one item costs a whole lot on the long term:
It can be as "cheep" as 8 US$ a month but also much... much more expensive. but even "just" 8 US$ per month adds up. It comes up to nearly 100 US$ a year and after a decade...
You will notice that it is never this cheep for a pro site with a shop - then it can jump to 20-30 US$ a month and much much more.
Most people build a website to last so this accumulating fee is high.

A year ago I found a true solution!
A site that offers a website & an online shop for a one time fee. And a reasonable fee at that.
It even boasts good service - and believe me I checked...
Recently they started adding a lot of bells and whistles. That is when I decided they are worth promoting, so I joined their affiliate program.
I believe we all deserve a fair run at life. For many starting businesses a website and online store are a must but the cost often deters people from jumping aboard or causes them to crash and burn before success comes.
